About SKA

Independent app studio · founded 2025

SKA is an independent studio making small, sharp consumer apps for people in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. It's run online between Saudi Arabia and London, from one desk, by one builder.

What we've made

• Dhahabi (ذهبي): an iPhone app with live gold and silver prices for Saudi Arabia in riyals, with a shop-counter calculator, zakat and alerts. Released June 2026.
• Hunch Games: a browser party game, "who took this photo?". Released December 2025.

How we work

Apps are built in Swift, sites run on Cloudflare, and Claude Code is used every day. We write about building our apps in the journal.
